Activity Week 2005

Barry Comprehensive School held its end of year Activity Week last week.

This annual event sees pupils from years 7, 8 & 9 forgoing lessons and uniform for a huge range of interesting and unusual activates and trips.

This year pupils tried rock climbing, paint-balling, fishing, golfing, bowls, swimming, martial arts, flying model aeroplanes, soccer, pyramid building, basketball and staging a drama production..

Pupils also explored the Merthyr Mawr Dunes, examined St Fagans Museum of Welsh Life, investigated Big Pit Mining Museum, tackled the Clyne Farm Assault Course in the Gower, visited the UGC Cinema and some pupils even stayed over-night on the island of Flatholm.

Our thanks to everyone involved for making the week a great success.
