Activity Week 2006

Barry Comprehensive School devoted the last week of term to one of its most popular annual events - Activity Week

Pupils from years 7, 8 & 9 spent the week out of lessons and out of uniform taking part in a range of interesting and unusual activates and trips.

This year pupils tried paint-balling, golfing, bowls, swimming, martial arts, flying model aeroplanes, soccer, pyramid building and basketball,

Pupils also explored the Merthyr Mawr Dunes, Big Pit Mining Museum, Cosmeston Lakes, tackled the heights of Llangorse Rope Centre (Brecon), had a go at surfing and assault courses at Morfa Bay Adventure Centre, braved the rides at Thorpe Park, had a camping expedition to Port Eynon and stayed over-night on the island of Flatholm.

Our thanks to everyone involved for making the week a great success.
