Good Attendance Is Its Own Reward

The year 8 prize-winners with Mrs Pyer, the school Attendance Officer

Sixteen boys from year 8 at Barry Comprehensive School were presented with certificates and special rewards during an assembly to mark their 100% attendance records for the Spring Term.

The presentation is part of an Attendance Initiative that aims to promote good attendance from pupils in years 7 to 11. The rewards given to pupils have all been donated by local businesses and the school would like to thank McDonalds (Barry), Area41 who run the Vibe FEVER and the Savoy Snooker Club for their generosity in supporting the initiative.

The year 8 prize-winners are Luke Abbott, William Baggus, Sion Charles, Sion Cox, Procopios Constantinou, Kyle Copestake, Sam Davis, Robert Green, Benjamin Jones, Josh Kirke, Jacob Lougher, Joseph Paley, Nathan Payne, Matthew Robinson-Hoare, Daniel Vaughan and Jordan Wheeler.
