| BT Education Programme Team Visit |
Barry Comprehensive welcomed the BT Education Programme Team to the school recently as part of the schools reward for winning the BT Speaking & Listening Award earlier in the year.
The session began with a presentation focussed on life beyond school and preparing for the challenges and demands of job interviews. This was the serious message behind a fun presentation.
Three intensive workshops followed, giving our pupils real-world strategies for getting that all-important first job. Mr Emery, English teacher and Work Experience Co-ordinator said, “The visit by the BT team provided an excellent opportunity for year 10 to pick-up useful information and tips, especially as they are about to start their two-week work-experience placements.”
