CILT Cymru Competition

The Barry Comprehensive delegation and CILT Cymru representatives at the presentation at the Liberty Stadium.Barry Comprehensive School’s Year 10 French students were placed third in the national CILT Cymru Competition ‘Getting to know the Foreign Language Assistant’

The boys took a high tech approach to their competition entry and authored a DVD containing background information and interviews with Foreign Language Assistant Virginie Arnoux.

Ms Evans, Head of Modern Foreign Languages, FLA Virginie Arnoux accompanied winners Luke Williams, Sam Harris, David Smith, Jack Westerland, Tristan Dunnett and Lewis Crompton to Swansea’s Liberty Stadium on March 17 th for the presentation ceremony. The French department received a cheque for £50 and the boys each received a goodie-bag and were also given the opportunity to look around the stadium.
