Just before Christmas, twelve Barry Comprehensive pupils attended the inaugural ‘Engineering Wales’ taster session at the Barry College ICAT facility, organised by Careers Wales.

The pupils were given four Engineering presentations, which included practical and computer sessions designed to encourage an interest in Engineering. The boys were also treated to a guided tour of the Aircraft Training Facility and briefed on some of the training the students undertake at the centre.

The school is grateful to Careers Wales and Barry College for a providing a fascinating insight into the industry.
