The Expressive Arts Class.

The Year 9 GCSE Expressive Arts class at Barry Comprehensive School performed their examination pieces to an open audience recently.

The performances were very successful and ranged from issues of cruelty to animals, the plight of farming communities, a school history lesson, and the real reason behind Picasso’s painting!

The class, which consists of 19 boys aged 13 – 14, have been working towards completing a GCSE two years earlier than normal and in only one year rather than the usual two years.

The boys have given up a great deal of their own time, break-times, lunch-times and after school to ensure a high standard of work and are sure to do extremely well.
