“Mickey is young man with a huge dream – making it as a singer. He leaves his friends and family and small-minded town to seek fame and fortune and meets a host of colourful characters along the way.”

This brand new musical has been written, composed choreographed and directed by staff and pupils of the Performing Arts Department and features stunning performances in song, acting and dance. There are many different styles of music, including hip-hop, jazz, rock and r’n’b, in a fast and energetic show that includes some very touching moments and a very clever plot twist. There is even a CD of songs from the musical available to give a preview of the performances to come.

If you would like to join Mickey on his journey to stardom come along to Barry Comprehensive School on Tuesday 27 or Wednesday 28 June for the premiere performance of MICKEY – The Musical.
