Barry Comprehensive School staged its second annual Murder Mystery Evening recently. This year’s gruesome events took place aboard the Queen Mary, where a body was discovered floating in the swimming pool.

Students from year 7 to year 10 worked very hard throughout the project to assume the characters of suspects and police officers. The audience questioned the suspects in an attempt to discover their hidden motives and identify the murderer. School Liaison Officer Malcolm Thomas took the role of Chief Inspector to ensure proceedings were conducted properly.

All the students improvised their lines relying on their wits and their knowledge of the characters they played. Because there was no script the only person who knew the murderer's identity in advance was the murderer himself!

The evening was another great success and all the participants, including the audience, enjoyed themselves tremendously.

The Police (L to R) Jordan Forse, Jordan Hunt, Adam Case, Josh Cowley, Nick Morgan, Sam Rimell, Jared Cornish, Thomas Clelandm Lewis McKernan.
