Barry Comprehensive School pupils in year 7 and 8 recently took part in a rap/poetry workshop! Leon Charles, a local rap-poet, used music, rap and poetry to motivate the boys to write and perform their own work.
"It was fun to do something different with writing."
"He was bad!"
As the above comments show, the pupils involved not only enjoyed the experience but, according to their teachers, produced some excellent work too.
eon was also really impressed with the pupils he worked with, "They're a talented and creative lot!"
