Barry Comprehensive School’s Better Reading Partnership recently completed its sixth year of successful operation.

The Partnership relies on specially trained volunteers who are partnered with boys from years 7, 8 and 9 to help them improve their reading skills. Most of the volunteers have been with the programme since its inception, however they were joined this year by Barry Comprehensive Sixth Former Lynsey Hewitt, who after completing her training, went on to help her two reading partners.
