Barry Comprehensive U13 Football

Barry Comprehensive U13 TeamBarry Comprehensive School Under 13 football team have enjoyed a successful season within the Cardiff competitions. Progressing steadily in the league, the team turned its attention to the Cardiff schools cup. With wins in the early rounds against Glyn Derw and St. Teilos, the boys found themselves drawn in a semi-final against Fitzalan. The team produced their best performance of the season with a 3-0 victory and set up a final with Bro Morganwwg at Jenner Park.

Barry played some good football in parts but eventually lost the game to a strong Bro Morganwwg side. Coach Mr. Ingle was pleased with the season. “There have been many new faces in the squad this year and the team has progressed well throughout the season. To finish runners up in this competition is a very good achievement”.
