A Level Results
Are UP!

Staff at Barry Comprehensive are thrilled with the achievements of their sixth form students. Grades across the range of subjects are even better than last year and include some exceptional individual A Level results.

Simon Lawson achieved four ‘A’ grades in Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography and History and will be attending Imperial College, London to read Bio-Medical Sciences.

Lloyd Jones achieved four ‘A’ grades in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and History and will be attending Bristol University to read Mathematics.

Robert Morris achieved three ‘A’ grades in Mathematics, French and History and will be attending Birmingham University to read Law and French

Yui Lee achieved three ‘A’ grades in Mathematics, Business and Economics and will be attending Manchester University to read Economics and Finance.

Lyndsay Hewitt achieved two ‘A’ grades in Biology and Chemistry and a B grade in History and will be attending Cardiff University to read Optometry.

Overall, 70% of A Level results were in the A - C grade range and 97% of results were in the A - E grade range. Twenty ‘A’ grades were achieved in total.

We wish all our former students well with the opportunities and challenges that await them on their University courses.
