Barry Comprehensive School Language students were recently called upon to help Cardiff International Airport improve its website.
The exercise is the first part of a joint initiative between Cardiff International Airport, CILT Cymru and Barry Comprehensive School. To complete the exercise, French and German students from year 9 examined the Airport’s website and assessed it’s content and usability.
Two groups of students, one studying French and one studying German, then made a presentation of their findings to the airports Operations Manager, Steve Hodgetts on his recent visit to the Modern Foreign Languages Department.
The remaining parts of the joint venture will include a visit to the airport by students to examine airport signage and also to speak to airport staff about their experiences and needs relating to language training.
