| Getting to know the Foreign Language Assistant |
Barry Comprehensive pupils, Sam Harris, David Smith, Jack Westerland and Luke Williams were awarded second place in the CILT Cymru Competition “Getting to know the Foreign Language Assistant”.
This annual competition is open to teams from schools throughout Wales and aims to promote language skills by encouraging pupils to use their language skills to elicit and report information about their FLA. On the 21 May, the team went to CILT Cymru in Cardiff Bay to receive their prizes and a cheque for £75 for the French Department. The boys have already offered to help Miss Evans spend the money on some new teaching resources!
