| Jacob Hollings Welsh U18s Basketball Team Captain |
Jacob Hollings, a Year 12 student at Barry Comprehensive School is enjoying considerable success in the very popular sport of basketball.
Jacob started playing at school under the guidance of coach Leighton Coles and was then selected for Wales U16s. The highlight so far has been a European tournament in Madeira against teams from Andorra, Morocco and the hosts. Jacob also enjoyed further European competition in Andorra against Belgium, Luxembourg, Monaco, Andorra, Cyprus and Scotland.
Jacob continues to play for Barry at both senior and U18 level and he is captain of his age group. Barry U18s are currently Welsh Champions after winning the Welsh U18 League.
