Kayne McLaggon, a Year 11 pupil at Barry Comprehensive School is celebrating signing a three year contract with Southampton Football Club.
Kayne has been a member of their strong academy set-up over the last two years, spending one day a week training with them. Despite this Kayne has managed to cope well with the demands of his GCSE examination courses.
Kayne has represented Wales on many occasions and his representative honours as a sprinter have helped him to have speed as well as skill on the pitch. As Southampton push for a place in the Premiership, Kayne can look forward to a promising future with the club.
