Children's Hospital

Year 7 pupils form Barry Comprehensive finished the term by playing Santa and delivering sacks of Christmas presents to the Children’s Hospital at the University of Wales Hospital in Cardiff.

Pupils and staff from the school contributed gift wrapped presents to be distributed to the children. The school was represented by ‘Santas' Jay Foscolo, Ross Liddiard and Scott Lloyd who distributed gifts to the children at the Space Ward.

The school has been a long-standing supporter of LATCH, delivering presents to the Oncology Clinic at Llandough Hospital for many years and we are proud to continue this tradition with our second annual visit to the new hospital.

Many thanks to all the pupils and staff who contributed and to the staff, patients and their families who made us feel so welcome at the hospital.
