Media4Schools on the election trail

Councillor Gwenllian Landsdowne and Grant Jones (seated) with Craig Lowry and Josh Dymond and teacher Jane EdwardsWith the local elections only days away, many people are deciding which way they will vote on the 3 rd May.

With that in mind, three lucky Year 11 boys were privileged to have been invited by Media 4 Schools to interview Councillor Gwenllian Landsdowne, the Plaid Cymru candidate for South Wales Central. Grant Jones interviewed Dr Landsdowne, with Craig Lowry and Josh Dymond on camera.

The BCS Media4Schools crew at workDuring his interview, Grant asked Dr Landsdowne what Plaid Cymru had to offer the young people of Wales, and was interested to hear of their Manifesto for Young People: “It is essential for the future of our nation that the young people of Wales take and interest in politics and take control of their own lives,” claimed Dr Landsdowne.

Whether Plaid Cymru is your party of choice, or any of the other parties running at this year’s election, the future of Wales is in the hands of the people paying a visit to the polling stations on May 3 rd.
