Barry Comprehensive School held is third annual Murder Mystery Evening recently.
The scene was set and the crime committed ready for the 100-strong Sherlock Holmes in the audience to attempt a solution. The audience were free to put questions to the suspects, played by students from year 7 through to year 10. Investigating police officers, also played by students from year 7 to year 10, were lead through the crime scene by local police officer Malcolm Thomas and were then able to assist the audience members with their enquiries.
The evening was written and produced by Mrs Ellis whose tireless preparation with the 21 young actors enabled them to improvise and interact with audience and stay in character for three hours of intense questioning and cross-examination.
The evening was highly entertaining and a great success and is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of all involved – roll on next year’s production! |
