New Year.
New Kitchen

Barry Comprehensive School started the new school year with a new kitchen providing a full meals service to pupils.

Following the fire during the summer holidays, the school and the Local Education Authority have worked closely together to achieve an amazing transformation in the canteen and kitchen. Contractors, cleaners, electricians, plumbers and everyone involved in the re-fitting worked through weekends and evenings to ensure the building was ready for the new equipment. Manufacturers ABM Group produced the new fittings in record time and everything was installed and operational for the first day of term.

The school would like to thank Bryan Jeffries (Director of Lifelong Learning), Carole Tyley (Vale Catering Services), Mark Haynes (Property Client Officer), Mervyn Bladon (ABM Group MD) and everyone who contributed to the project.
