Schools Fantasy League

Sean Limbrick holding the ‘Best Manager’ trophy and Ashley Brown with his runner-up medalBarry Comprehensive School enjoyed another successful season in the “Schools Fantasy League” as fifty pupils put their football management skills to the test.

The points have been totalled, the prizes have been awarded, and the winner of ‘Best Manager’ has gone to Sean Limbrick of year 11. Sean bought and sold over 20 players throughout the hard fought battle, and his team “Elland Road Faithful” pipped Ashley Brown’s “Bamsolona” to the coveted title by just 4 points.

Special mention should also go to Kyle Jones-Niblett, Bradley Stait, Anthony Kitely, and Daniel Lewis for winning their respective school year leagues.

Mr Wagner, the League Chairman, said “Congratulations to Sean, and all those who won medals this year. I am sure that next season will be even more successful and the title will again be hotly contested!”
