Forty pupils and four members of staff travelled to Chatel, Portes du Soleil, France recently week for a thrilling week of skiing. All pupils improved throughout the week under the guidance of instructors Gabrielle, Nicoloa, Stephan and Jacqueline.

No fear on the slopesPupils received four hours of skiing lessons per day and also completed skiing outside lesson time. Each evening there was an organised activity such as bowling, karaoke and ice skating which all pupils thoroughly enjoyed.

Snow conditions were very good with fresh snowfall throughout the week. The majority of pupils were complete beginners who progressed from green to red runs by the end of the week, while the more experienced skiers were completing red and black runs while also skiing off piste, completing the challenging boardercross run and attempting some exciting vertical jumps.

Making friends with the locals....Due to the trip being such a success Mr.Williams is already planning the next alpine adventure
