Barry Comprehensive School devoted the last week of term to one of its most popular annual events - Activity Week

Pupils from years 7, 8 & 9 spent the week out of lessons and out of uniform taking part in a range of interesting and unusual activities and trips.

Out of school, pupils visited Big Pit Mining Museum, Merthyr Mawr Dunes, the Paintball Centre, Bristol Zoo, flew radio controlled aircraft at Llandow, went swimming, had an overnight stay on the island of Flatholm and even travelled as far as Disneyland Paris.

There was plenty to do inside school as well. This year's activities included building and flying model aeroplanes, scaling the school's indoor climbing wall, table tennis, badminton, football, dodgeball, basketball coaching, pyramid design and construction and even some indoor stargazing!
