Staff at Barry Comprehensive are thrilled with the achievements of their sixth form students.

Excellent grades were recorded across the range of subjects and include some exceptional individual A Level results.

Daniel Jordan achieved four ‘A’ grades in Economics, History, English Language & Literature and Business Studies and will be attending New College, Oxford to study Law & Jurisprudence.

Lloyd Rogers achieved three ‘A’ grades in Biology, Geography and Physical Education and will be studying Biology at Cardiff University.

Sophie Harris will be studying Czech and French at Bristol University having achieved ‘B’ grades in French and Mathematics and a grade ‘C’ in Chemistry.

Rhys Williams will be studying Bio-Chemistry at Cardiff University having achieved grade ‘A’ in French, grade ’B’ in Biology and grade ‘C’ in Chemistry.

Sean Daley will be studying Geography at Reading University having achieved three ‘B’ grades in Geography, History and English Language & Literature.

Michael Prosser will be studying Business Management at Cardiff University having achieved grade ‘A’ in History and ‘B’ grades in Business Studies and Economics.

Overall, 55% of A Level results were in the A - C grade range and 95% of results were in the A - E grade range.

We wish all our former students well with the opportunities and challenges that await them on their University courses.
