BCTV on location at the Celtic Manor

Barry Comprehensive School’s TV station, BCTV, were invited by Media4Schools to travel down to the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport last week, to report on the new Ryder Cup golf course being built, and of the impact that the Ryder Cup being in Wales will have on Welsh golf.

So Josh Dymond, Stephen Lawton, Lloyd Pursall and Marcel Cordle duly went along on a beautiful sunny day to work their magic, both in front of camera and behind. Lloyd had the opportunity to meet and interview Rhys Davies, a young golfer from Bridgend, the first Welsh amateur to take part in the US open, and who, later that day, was to turn professional.

The finished film will be entered in the Media4Schools Awards next month.

Any budding film makers wishing to enter a 2-minute film into the awards should come and see Mrs Edwards in Room 208 as soon as possible.
