Ben's Postcard From The Park

Barry Comprehensive School’s Sixth Form student Ben Britton recently travelled to London to receive an award for his entry into a national photography competition called ‘Postcards from the Park’.  Ben’s entry, titled “Torment” won first place for the Welsh regional competition.

He received his prize from Joanna Lumley and judge Mike McCartney. Joanna Lumley, who is Patron of Mile End Park, said: "Parks are among the UK's most treasured features and the ‘Postcards from the Park’ competition was a great way of celebrating that fact.”

Ben’s winning photograph can be viewed online at www.green-space.org.uk
