Barry Comprehensive School pupils have had great success in the annual Christmas/New Year Drink Drive Poster Competition 2007
Denholm Edmunds claimed first place in the Vale of Glamorgan senior category, whilst Lewis Cummings and Morgan Dowdall both received a ‘Highly Commended’ rating from the judges.
The competition invited pupils to produce a poster with or without a slogan that will warn people of the dangers and/or consequences of drinking and driving. The Vale of Glamorgan Council Road Safety Unit organised the regional competition which is part of the national competition which is supported by the Welsh Assembly Government and Road Safety Wales.
