Another season of the School’s Fantasy League is over and this time the honours have gone to the young guns. Over 80 pupils put their football managerial skills to the test and finishing top of the pile this year was Sam Beck of Year 7.

Sam bought and sold over 15 players throughout the hard fought battle, and his team, 'Sam's Dream Team', beat Connor Ogden's 'The Nike Squad' to the coveted title by over 20 points. In fact, Sam finished in the top 600 of over 100,000 competitors nationwide. A fantastic achievement!

Another winner was Gareth Hodgson, also of year 7, whose team, 'All Stars', won the Fantasy FA Cup. Special mention should also go to Bradley Stait, Jack Williams, and Ashley Brown for winning their respective school year leagues.

Mr Wagner, the League Chairman, said “Congratulations to Sam, he is certainly the manager everyone has to beat next year! I am sure that next season will be even more successful and the title will again be hotly contested!”
