Barry Comprehensive School pupils may soon be making regular appearances on ITV – up to 5 times a day for the next few years!

ITV News are updating the title sequence for all their news programmes and wanted images reflecting Welsh culture. Rugby was one suggestion, and ITV asked us to provide some exciting play for them to film and hopefully be included in the new sequence. The boys put on an impressive show and after nearly an hour of filming we hope to have a second or two in the new sequence which begins broadcasting in November.

We made it!

The Barry Comprehensive Year 8 Rugby clip was selected for inclusion in the ITV Wales News title sequence.

The first broadcast was at lunchtime on Sunday 2nd December and we can expect to see the clip several times a day for the next year or two!

Well done Year 8 Rugby players.
