Media4Schools Docudrama |
Yet again it was Lights, Camera, Action! at school when 14 Year 8 boys took part in a docu-drama highlighting the plight of pupils with learning difficulties in mainstream schools, run by Media4Schools.
Hayden Pullum of 8DGP plays Jonathan Fletcher, a boy with mild autism, who finds coping with the day to day life of school increasingly difficult. Also in starring roles were Gareth Barker of Dominic Lack and Connor Ogden, all of 8RL, who play Jonathan’s classroom tormentors. Along with the pupils, staff were also placed in the limelight; Ms Ford playing Jonathan’s mum, and Mrs Edwards in the demanding role of Jonathan’s teacher!
The film, when completed will be distributed to those who took part, and will be shown in the Atrium during breaks and lunchtimes.
