Business Champions

On the 4th February pupils from Barry Comprehensive School visited Cardiff International Airport as part of the Business Champion project.

The subject of the visit was an investigation into communication. The group carried out an audit on signage and spoke to staff about languages. On returning from their enjoyable and informative visit, the boys produced presentations on their findings. On the 3 rd July Mr Steve Hodgetts from Cardiff International Airport visited the school and a group of Year 9 and 10 pupils showed their power point presentations and discussed their ideas for making the Airport more welcoming.

Mrs Evans, Head of Modern Foreign Languages and organiser of the visit said, “I am extremely proud of the boys for their hard work and constructive feedback.”
