Barry Comprehensive School

Yes it's that time of year again, and Murder Mystery fever has hit us all at Barry Comprehensive School . Following the huge successes of previous years, students have banded together in 2008 to create…MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS.

Audience members took on the roll of passengers on the infamous train and had only ten minutes to question each of the suspects as they were brought to their table by professional police escorts.

The ‘passengers' were given the choice of first or second class tickets. First class benefited from an excellent waiter service provided by Barry Comprehensive's very own Hospitality & Catering students.

This years surprise was a second murder occurring whilst the audience enjoyed their evening meal which was provided by the PTA. The unexpected gunshot frightened at least one member of the audience whilst on their way to the restroom!.

Once again, the students and Malcolm Thomas, our Police Liaison Officer, gave exceptional performances that even the Creative Arts Faculty teachers in the audience could not catch them out of character.

Mrs Ellis, who was responsible for the 4 th Annual Murder Mystery Evening, was delighted with everyone's performance and would like to say a huge thank you to ALL involved for producing such an enjoyable and successful evening.
