On Wednesday 10th December, 7LM were lucky enough to attend a performance of “Wizard of Oz on Ice” at Cardiff Ice Rink. For the pupils of 7LM there was an added bonus as their classmate Jesse Keeble along with his brother Lloyd Keeble had staring roles in the show.

Pupils were given a very festive welcome into the ice rink as they enjoyed lots of Christmas singing and dancing before the performance. Pupils were dazzled by the boys’ excellent skating skills and they showed a huge amount of support for their classmate. The pupils were in awe as Jesse came to greet the class at the end of the performance (in costume), one pupil even asked Jesse for his autograph!
Staring in “Wizard of Oz on Ice” wasn’t where it ended for Jesse and Lloyd as they and fellow pupil Liam Welsh went on to star in ITV1’s Dancing on Ice Christmas Special on Christmas day!
