Great Britain Roller Hockey Team Captain, Jordan Powell

Barry Comprehensive School Sixth Form student, Jordan Powell, is celebrating after he has been selected as captain of the U18 Great Britain Roller Hockey team.

Jordan will lead the twelve man squad in the World Championships in Philadelphia later this month against some strong opposition including Australia, Canada, Mexico and of course the hosts U.S.A. Jordan is a seasoned campaigner having been to the championships before in Edmonton, Canada and Detroit USA.

Jordan practises regularly and also plays for Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey Team. A talented sportsman, Jordan will no doubt continue to gain representative honours.
