Fieldtrip
to
Iceland

Seventeen intrepid pupils and two staff from Barry Comprehensive visited Iceland over the Easter holidays.

The trip was organised as a joint venture with Cowbridge Comprehensive and has been hailed as a great success. The Geology and Geography students got to experience first hand much of what they have learned in class. The group visited spectacular waterfalls, walked on a glacier, entered volcanic craters and got sprayed by active geysers. There was also time for relaxing in the geothermal pools and the world famous Blue Lagoon before flying home.

Mr. Prickett (Head of Faculty) would like to congratulate the students on their exemplary behaviour and attitude throughout the trip. The trip will hopefully run again in two years time.
