LATCH
Christmas Visit

Pupils form Barry Comprehensive finished the term by playing Santa and delivering sacks of Christmas presents to the Children’s Hospital at the University of Wales Hospital in Cardiff.

Pupils, parents and staff from the school contributed gift wrapped presents to be distributed to the children. The school was represented by ‘Santas' Rhys, Bradley and Connor who distributed gifts to the children at the Space Ward.

Another special delivery this year was a cheque for £500 for LATCH, thanks once again, to the generous donations of pupils, parents and staff at the school

The school has been a long-standing supporter of LATCH, delivering presents to the Oncology Clinic at Llandough Hospital for many years and now continuing the tradition with our fourth annual visit to the new hospital.

Many thanks to all the pupils, parents and staff who contributed and to the staff, patients and their families who made us feel so welcome at the hospital.
