Les Misérables

It certainly wasn’t a miserable time for the pupils at Barry Comprehensive School at the end of term. Their production of “Les Misérables” was an outstanding success. Three sell out audiences and the loudest cheers of approval every night confirmed that this was one of the best productions the school has put on. After four weeks of rehearsals and a lot of time and effort getting everything ready, the opening night was amazing. Comments from the audience included:

“Excellent production. I was moved to tears when Javert died”.

“The singing was as professional as the West End”.

“The best school production I have seen”.

“What’s next?”

We are so proud of our pupils and what they have achieved. The talent within the school keeps growing and growing and it makes you realise what tremendous potential there is within the Creative Arts Faculty, for the future pupils and staff are already planning their programme of events for next year.
