A group of Barry Comprehensive School’s Year 7 pupils have just returned from a very successful trip to the Urdd camp at Llangrannog.

Quads were one of the most popular activities at Llangrannog “Archery was exciting and you had to use a lot of strength to pull the string back on the bow. If you hit the polo in the middle of the target you won a Nintendo! (at least that’s what our instructor said) but no one came close.” OWAIN “The go carts were fun because they had loads of sharp turns and one hairpin bend. It was fun going through puddles and getting soaking wet!”

During their free time the astro-turf and pool table proved very popular as well as the opportunity to practise Welsh with the pupils from Bryn Hafren and St Teilo’s school in Cardiff.
