On Monday 30th March, Eissa (The French Foreign Language Assistant) and Caelum Davies went to Cardiff Museum for an award ceremony. A group of Year 10 pupils came 1st in a national competition, winning a projector for the languages department and goodie bags for the rest of the group. Caelum represented the group as the other students were on a study visit to France. Caelum Davies along with George Scott, Tom Ellis, Jared Cornish, Sam Herbert and Mike Crompton (with help from Eissa) produced an excellent board game. Their aim was to produce a project to get to know their foreign language assistant. Other projects were submitted by the school, a PowerPoint presentation and another board game and these pupils were also highly praised. The day all in all was a big success, lots of prizes, food and fun, and we look forward to next year’s competition.
