The gang's all here - past and present pupils perform at
'An Evening with the Music Department’

Last week, Barry Comprehensive School’s Music Department invited parents, families and friends into the main hall for a concert to showcase some of our young performers.

The songs for the performance were chosen by the pupils and led to an interesting mix of different musical styles including hip-hop, swing, classical, musical theatre and classic rock. The show featured performers from all year groups and saw a welcome return from some ex-pupils who were eager to show how their skills have developed.

The evening also included a reprise of the Children In Need X Factor performances, allowing a new audience to cast their votes for the best performance.

All singers were ably supported by the fantastic ‘house band’ comprising of current and former pupils and teachers who spent many hours learning the all the songs and arrangements for the evening.

The Music Department is very proud of all the performers, past and present, and would like to thank the audience for their support and look forward to seeing you all again.
