Barry Comprehensive School ’s Year 7 pupils marked Shrove Tuesday with a charity pancake race.

Pupils paid a £1 entry fee to race against the other boys in their form, with the winners going on to the final. The title of ‘Pancake-Tosser of the Year’ was claimed by Clayton Slack, with Adam Owen, Lloyd Hawkins and Dylan Stephenson taking runner-up positions.

All entry fees will be donated to Barry Comprehensive’s partner school in Pemba, Tanzania.
