Barry Comprehensive School's Better Reading Partnership has just completed another successful term.

The Partnership relies on specially trained volunteers from the local community who are partnered with boys from years 7, 8 and 9 to help them improve their reading skills.

This year we were very pleased to welcome new recruit Mrs Brock, who along with her fellow mentors generously gave up her time to help spur pupils on to become more confident readers.

The school is very grateful to all the volunteers, past and present, without whose time and dedication the partnership would not be possible.
