Revision session underway at the Quality Inn

Barry Comprehensive School Year 11 students and their teachers recently spent another very successful Revision Weekend at the Quality Hotel, Coryton, Cardiff.

This year, forty-four students used the time away from the distractions of home to cover topics such as ‘How We Learn’ along with practical techniques and strategies to improve their revision for the GCSE examinations.

Working together in small groups to tackle problems

Along with these general sessions, the twenty plus teachers who volunteered their time also provided subject-based sessions in Science, Mathematics, History, Geography, Business Studies, Physical Education and English.

Students left the intensive weekend with new insights into what they can do for themselves to achieve success in their examinations this summer.
