Snooker star Ryan Rowlands

Snooker star Ryan Rowlands is practising hard at the moment. He has been selected to represent Wales in an U14 International Snooker Tournament in Carlow, Ireland.

Ryan, a Year 7 pupil at Barry Comprehensive School, was selected by gaining points in qualifying tournaments throughout the country and achieved a top six place overall.

This is Ryan’s first International and he is looking forward to travelling to Ireland with his team mates from all over Wales.

On his return, it will be back to the practice table ready to start the qualifying tournaments in September.
