Barry Comprehensive School’s Aaron Archer has recently returned from Rotherham where he represented Wales in the Hockey Super League Championship.
The Wales team played a series of matches against English regional teams, culminating in a final against Southwest England. Aaron, who is in Year 10, is the goalie for the team and his skills proved essential in securing Wales’ victory in the final.
Aaron and his team mates were especially proud of their achievement because this was the first time the WalesU14 team had won the Championship.
