Barry Comprehensive School sixth-form students and their teachers are celebrating another outstanding set of A Level results.

The majority of students have earned a place at their first choice of University, despite the much publicised squeeze on places this year. 

Particular individual achievements include:

• Robbie Thompson achieved A*AAC and will be studying Dentistry at Cardiff
• Richard Thomas achieved grades AAB and will be studying Applied Geology at Exeter
• Rhys Griffiths achieved grades AAA and will be studying Law at Cardiff
• Chantal Walden achieved grades ABB and will be studying English and Psychology at Keele
• Lewis McKernan achieved grades BBB and will be studying Geology at Southampton
• Rhys Donovan achieved grades AABB and will be studying Biomedical Sciences at Cardiff
• Joseph Criddle achieved grades ABC and will be studying Geography at Leicester
• Richard Webb achieved grades AAB and will be studying Genetics at Cardiff

Overall, 96% of results were in the A - E grade range.

We wish all our former students good luck with their future endeavours.
