Visit to
Bad Ems

In March a group of pupils from Barry Comprehensive School visited Germany with their teachers, Miss Flage and Mr Jones.

The pupils stayed in a youth hostel in Bad Ems and were kept busy with a variety of activities.

These included a visit to Marksburg Castle, a boat trip on the Rhine, a guided tour of F.C Köln’s stadium, a visit to the Bonn History Museum, a look at a chocolate factory and an afternoon swimming.

The pupils also practised their German, not only in the youth hostel, but also in German lessons with Miss Flage and tour guide, Ben and out and about.

Once again the pupils of Barry Comprehensive School were commended on their outstanding behaviour and their enthusiasm during the trip.
