Barry Comprehensive Year 8 pupil Kyron Caddick has just returned from the World Traditional Karate/Kickboxing Association World Championships with a gold medal.
Kyron attended the competition in Italy as a member of the GB Squad. Kyron fought off competition from England and Italy in the preliminary rounds before facing a competitor from Germany in the final on the 8 th November. A solid 5-0 win secured first place, an impressive belt and a gold medal.
