Barry Comprehensive School recently resurrected one of the most popular events in the school calendar – the Murder Mystery Evening.
The audience were offered a night of nail biting improvisation from student performers from Year 7 through to Year 13. Some of the Year 13s have been in the ‘Mystery Crew’ from the very first evening in 2005. Daniel Morgan, Ben Sully, Ellis Watts and Blake Knight performed as suspects for the last time as they will be leaving us for universities across the country to continue their studies.
However, all is not doom and gloom for out of the ashes new stars were born, including Jack James, who turned out to be the dastardly killer, Tom Evans who moved from the role of policeman to suspect and Alex Parker who took the role of Chief Inspector and host of the evening.
The performance was well received and everyone enjoyed the fun-filled atmosphere, with guests commenting on the student’s performances and on the excellent standard of the food prepared and served by Year 10 Hospitality & Catering students.
Mrs Ellis said she could not be more proud of the students and has already started plotting next year’s night of Murder & Mystery.
